I have blogged much lately because I’ve been writing. And running. I’m almost back to my pre-ITBS mileage and hopefully next weekend will race 21.1km as part of the Ironman 70.3 Mandurah competition. Hopefully I say, as I’ve got some worrying shin pain today but come on, I can’t be that unlucky can I? Ironman 70.3 Putrajaya Trophies

Thank you to Ironman for these wonderful trophies, two of which will be proudly displayed wherever we set up home and will always remind us of our fabulous time in Malaysia. My husband is already talking about registering to do Ironman 70.3 in Western Australia. It looks like I’ll have to find new team mates though as he wants to do the whole event himself. Ironman 70.3 Putrajaya

One of the best ways to cheer yourself up, besides going for a run, is to convince yourself that it could always be worse. All ten of your toenails could have fallen off, instead of only one, for instance. Or, you could have broken your wrist when you fell face-first on the pavement instead of only your pride and a few inches of skin.
